This Mini-Symposium focuses on the dynamic interaction between structural vibrations and wave propagation in unbounded and bounded media. The aim is to share recent developments in mechanical and numerical modeling, the experimental identification of properties and in experimental evidence. 

Relevant topics include, e.g., the effects related with uncertainties on the data, non-linear behavior of materials and interfaces, scattering of waves in heterogeneous media and at structures in the propagation medium, effects of incident waves, large scale wave-structure-interactions.
